The Epsom West division of East Surrey Unitary Council consists of Stamford and Horton Wards (ShoRA) and part of Town and Court Wards (ETRA).

The election for the new division will be taking place on 7th May 2026.

Scott Marshall

Scott has lived in Epsom West for nearly 20 years and has served the Residents' Association in Stamford and Horton Wards since 2017, becoming Chairman in 2024. A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 25 years' experience in transport, infrastructure, planning and development, he brings skills highly relevant to the role. He has worked closely with residents, community groups and RA councillors to champion local priorities. Now standing for Epsom West, he is committed to representing Town, Court, Stamford and Horton. He is determined to protect green spaces and help Epsom West thrive as a safe, well‑maintained and community‑focused place to live.

Christine Cleveland

Christine (Chrissie) Cleveland has lived in the borough for over 30 years and has been a Councillor since 2019 for the Residents Association. She is committed to protecting Epsom and Ewells’ urban and green character and ensuring residents feel safe. A former senior executive in education, health and social care, she later became CEO of a Surrey Carers charity. She has served on key committees, chaired the Health Liaison Panel, and campaigned for strong local NHS services. She is passionate about supporting vulnerable people and safeguarding the green belt. If elected, she will give Stamford, Horton, Court and Town residents an independent voice free from party politics.
